Kinematics is the study of motion of particle object and it begins with a description of the geometry of the system and the initial conditions of known values of the velocity, position and also the acceleration of the various points that are the part of the system. The use of geometric transformations which are called as rigid transformations and this is to describe the movement of components of a mechanical system which simplifies the derivation of its equations of motion and  it is the one which is central to dynamic analysis. Kinematic analysis is actually the process of measuring the kinematic quantities which are used to describe motion. In addition to this kinematics also applies the algebraic geometry to study the mechanical advantage of a mechanism or a mechanical system.
